RNC to Give Trump Access to Voter File

Donald Trump's presidential campaign has quietly signed an agreement allowing it free access to the Republican National Committee's data file on some 250 million voters, Politico reports.
The RNC had offered access to the names, voting history and consumer information in its massive data file to the Trump campaign soon after he announced his candidacy last June, Yahoo reported in July.
Politico reports Trump's campaign inked the deal in the last few weeks.
"If the RNC is offering the file for free, then I am sure that the campaign is using it," one unnamed source close to Trump tells Politico.
"List or no list, data or no data, analytics or no analytics, without paid advertising in the final stretch, the campaign will not be able to deliver all the supporters Mr. Trump has persuaded."
The Trump campaign is ready to shell out as much as $2 million a week on a new ad blitz, Fox News reported Monday.
The agreement is similar to one signed by the campaigns of most of the GOP presidential candidates, and requires a vow to support the party's eventual nominee, Politico reports.
