It doesn't matter if Trump loses the overwhelming share of "the Hispanic vote".
(By "overwhelming share", I mean about two out of every three Hispanics voting for the democrats.)
It will make next-to-no difference in the outcome.
But... why is that?
Question:
In which states do most Hispanics live?
(I am referring to LEGAL Hispanic citizens, not illegals)
The Lion's share of them live in states like California, Illinois, New York and New Jersey.
All of which are going to vote democratic, anyway.
I will concede that there's a large number of Hispanic voters in Texas, but like gringo Texans, they tend to be different than Hispanics in other states. Texas Hispanics are more conservative and I sense that a good number of them actually resent the illegal influx. In any case, Texas will vote Republican this time around, regardless.
So -- once again -- IT DOESN'T MATTER how "Hispanics" regard Donald Trump.
It matters more as to where they live.
And at least for now, the demographics are in Trump's favor.
