December 7, 1941

President Obama says we do not know if the attack on Pearl Harbor was an act of war, terrorism or a workplace incident. "This was probably an isolated act by lone wolves, we cannot hold all of Japan responsible for this."

Meanwhile Congressional Democrats visited a local Shinto Shrine and announced they stand in solidarity with the Japanese people. Cities and states deployed forces to protect Japanese-Americans and Japanese institutions from reprisal attacks.

CNN Radio News interviewed the widow of one of the sailors who died, asking if maybe he had deserved it.

NBC Radio asked the audience "If we hate on Japan, aren't we the bad guys..."

ABC analyst decides to announce that America deserves the attack.

The Attorney General of the US announced today that anyone badmouthing the Japanese will be prosecuted by the federal government.

The New York Daily News has issued an EXTRA edition vilifying those who pray for the victims of the Pearl Harbor attack. It also accuses those Americans wanting to defend the nation of being terrorists.
