I guess one would have to be somewhat comfortable with the lime light to run for and/or become the Pres.

Which is why he would never recede to the obscurity of the Supreme Court.

Nope. Just that Cruz doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who craves the limelight even a fraction as much as DT, Obama or a lot of other people in politics.

No first-term Senator (other than Obama) has injected himself onto the political stage more than Cruz. And he never turns down an interview.

Really?  I think every lawyer's dream is to be President of the US.

Maybe he just thinks it's time for a clear-minded conservative to run and win.

Besides, one doesn't have to have "links" supporting an OPINION.  My opinion of Trump is that he's a clownish buffoon with no firm principles except advancing his own narcissistic personality.  You can like that r not, but that's my opinion.

Sink, your opinion is fine.  But when you state it as fact, I'll continue to ask for some proof.

And, of course, he thinks he's that conservative.

I just don't like Cruz.  I agree with most of his policies, but he lectures like Obama and doesn't work well with others.

LOL..and a Justice on the SC is not a narcissist....there just isn't that many to poll for them to make that list.

Sorry just asking questions about a reality show candidate (which whom I will not vote for if he is the nominee) is not someone with TDS..  Stop being a lemming.. Think..

IMO you're the poster child for TDS.  And, that's okay--someone has to be.

Having been a lawyer and - worse - having worked with a bunch of them, I'd say a very large percentage fantasize about being a judge. Some think about political office. Next to zero about being president.

Well, obviously it's not zero as four of the last seven presidents have been lawyers.

Oh Look!  Sink knows that Ted has NEVER turned down and interview!  He must be right in the middle of that campaign!

New York?
That's gonna be a tough one!

Although, points to consider:
- Mayor Komrade Wilhelm of New York City has so alienated the whites there, that they might be angry enough to vote for Trump in 2016.
- Little Andy Cuomo has so alienated many upstaters with his "SAFE Act" (draconian gun control law), that if Trump campaigns hard there and hammers on the Second Amendment issue, he might even get angry working-class democrat males to vote for him.

Even with both factors, Trump would be incredibly lucky to pull it off.

Aside:
Pennsylvania is a big "gun state", as well.
Go in there and push the issue hard!

Methinks it would be savvy of Mr. Trump to bring Senator Cruz in as vice president.

Ted Cruz will make an excellent consigliere for Trump -- IF he's willing to subjugate his [normally overbearing] ego, if only slightly.

And when the first Supreme Court vacancy occurs (I predict it will be Ginsberg), Cruz should be the first choice...

Trump will draw the TV pop culture LIVs

I remember when conservatives had contempt for Obama's celebrity and his cultist followers.

It is amusing to watch the hair-on-fire types hysterically screaming, Trump is a Democrat!! LoL

Nobody cares. It's hilarious.

It is nice we both are finding a lot to laugh at.

I don't care if Trump is a card carrying Communist. In fact, I would rather vote for Putin than Obama, or half the Republicans who are running.

I don't care if Trump eats little baby puppies and kittens for lunch every day. That stuff doesn't matter.

Very persuasive argument for Trump.

No.

Exactly as I thought, a total freakin' hypocrite. Yet you bash the Freedom Caucus for causing trouble and not support  Boner's and McConman's leadership. Ah but when the shoe is on the other foot, oh no, that's different.

Which is fine, that's your choice, but you have no more credibility on the issue.
