Oooohhh...things are getting nasty in here. I think we should all vote our conscious.  I think most of us are in agreement that we don't want a criminal or a socialist in the White House. 

After the holidays and the beginning of the New Year, more people will start to pay attention (hopefully) and give some serious consideration to the candidates.  Then we have the Iowa caucus in February and we should have a better idea of how the GOP candidates are lining up.

I will vote for him if my fellow republicans turn out to in fact be stupid enough to nominate him.  I have faulted others for not voting for Romney, et al, because he didn't meet their personal litmus tests, and so I will apply my own rule to myself and I hereby commit myself to voting for Trump if he is the GOP nominee.

I know that he will lose, and lose badly, but I will vote for the republican nominee because she or he is the republican nominee and I understand all too well that sitting out on the sidelines is tantamount to a vote for the other side and I simply could not live with knowing that I helped to get Clinton or Sanders elected.

The problem is that I live in Illinois.. It is blue regardless who I vote for..

I've noticed something that is mildly unsettling. I am not a Trump supporter. I use that disclaimer often. But, I will point out the good that Trump is doing. That is enough to set off the same crew into attack mode. If you post anything short of "Die Trump, die", you are a Trumpeteer and subject to attack. I've even noticed posters who at time display thoughtfulness and logic go off the rails, ditch any semblance of objectivity and attack with illogical statements.

Get a grip. Trump is not likely to be nominated, but if he is, we will get what we deserve.

I think it's more about managing the tone of the board and the perception of our 'Guests' than anything.  If you notice... the number of Guests on a thread is typically greater than the number of Members...

Rubio, Fiorina, Cruz, are all non-disasters.  Certainly they are light-years away from the epic disaster that is Donald Trump.

Cruz is a non disaster. RUBIO AND Carly have a problem with the truth. IF YOU WANT OPEN BORDERS and illegal invaders getting a pass. Like the global financiers make a fortune while the US suffers and more job losses with TPP then Rubio is your guy. Even though the RINOS won't ask BUT he is the leader of the "Gang of EIGHT" but he is compassionate. Ask FRANCE how that open border and compassion for the muslins is working out over their. Carly likes to forget about the important years at HP. She sells herself as a outsider but was chairman of the Republican Fund Raising committee. Also supported John McCain for Senator and ran and lost to Babs in CA. Some outsider?
