Will Smith and Wife Jada Allegedly Donated Huge Sum to Louis Farrakhan and Nation of Islam for “Civil Rights” March

The Million Man March — an event put on by Louis Farrakhan, the dude heading up the Nation of Islam who calls for the murder of police and white people — recently went down in Washington, and the same divisive rhetoric we’ve heard time and again was pushed to the masses by folks desiring to keep our nation split by color.

While the event didn’t make a whole lot of headlines, something that happened last month involving one of Hollywood’s biggest stars and a possible HUGE donation to Farrakhan to support the rally just might.

There are reports going around that superstar Will Smith and his wife Jada supposedly donated a whopping $150,000 to the head of the Nation of Islam.

Yeah, that’s a lot of bread going to support a group known for calling folks to kill cops and murder white people, all in the name of “racial equality.”

If it’s true that is. Neither Smith or his wife have confirmed the donation.

Here are the details.

From Philly.Com:

WILL SMITH and JADA PINKETT-SMITH have reportedly donated $150,000 (GBP93,750) to civil rights leader LOUIS FARRAKHAN’s Justice… Or Else! march. The head of the Nation of Islam religious group held a rally at the Tindley Temple United Methodist Church in the Men In Black star’s native Philadephia, Pennsylvania recently and revealed the couple had made the sizeable contribution in support of the organization’s efforts to raise $1.8 million (GBP1.1 million) for the cause. During the rally, Farrakhan also called on other celebrities to donate. The Justice…Or Else! march will take place on 10 October (15) at the National Mall in Washington, D.C. to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Farrakhan’s Million Man March. Earlier this summer (15), rapper The Game met with the spiritual leader to discuss plans for the march, which is expected to draw thousands to the capital following a series alleged police brutality incidents involving black youths across the U.S.

Farrakhan’s group, the Nation of Islam, has ties to the Black Panthers, another organization full of radicals who have repeatedly made calls for violence.

If this indeed is true, it’s quite disturbing Smith would support a group that advocates murder against innocent civilians, which is a mind-blowing hypocrisy considering these folks claim to be all about racial equality.

If Smith feels there’s racism that needs to be addressed, he certainly has a large enough platform to do so himself, or to join hands with an organization that at least doesn’t advocate for murdering people.

The other thing that sort of scrambles my brain about this is how Smith has repeatedly said he’s not a fan of organized religion, yet here is, donating tons of cash to a group of Islamists who want to spread their radical beliefs all over the world.

It’ll be interesting to see if this ever gets confirmed, though it’s highly unlikely that will happen.

Don’t you miss the John Wayne days in Hollywood, when celebrities actually loved America and were proud of the freedom we have?

Historically what we called "Journalism" had standards, and one was independent "confirmation."
