Lamar Odom's survival is right on the line.

Sources at the hospital tell us doctors are now saying Lamar has a 50/50 chance of surviving after enduring multiple medical problems ... the apparent result of complications from drug use.

Our sources say doctors are saying 4 of Lamar's organs, including his kidneys, are failing. As we reported, he's had a series of strokes in the hospital and has heart problems as well.

The doctors are saying with each failing organ the chances of survival go down significantly.

We're also told doctors are having trouble determining the extent of any brain damage because the organ issues make it difficult to test and get an accurate reading on brain function.

Lamar Odom out of coma, says ‘Hey, baby,’ to Khloe

Lamar Odom woke from his coma Friday, saying, “Hey, baby,” to his estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian, and even giving his doctors a thumbs-up.

“Lamar is conscious and was able to say hi to Khloe, but his condition remains guarded,” a source close to the family told The Post.

The former Lakers star also was taken off a ventilator and was breathing on his own in his bed at the Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, a source told E!

Friday’s promising news followed three days of Odom lying unresponsive in the hospital’s intensive care unit — the aftermath of his overdose at a ­Nevada brothel. Odom, 35, had been on life support since being rushed from the brothel to the hospital on Tuesday afternoon, with insiders warning that multiple drug-induced strokes could leave him with extensive brain damage.

Khloe, 31, has been at his bedside since Tuesday night, with her Kardashian kin circling in and out since Wednesday.

Odom’s college basketball coach Jim Harrick described a tender bedside moment between the couple.

“She reached down and said, ‘You know I love you,’ and he kind of nodded,” Harrick told USA Today.

“Three or four days after being scared to death and fearing the worst, that is a little hope, a little progress,” Harrick said.

At least two ex-girlfriends have also visited the hospital, adding to the drama.

“Many friends have visited the hospital, and we’ve stayed together praying for him,” reputed ex-mistress Sandy Schultz told ­Radar Online.

Liza Morales, his high-school sweetheart and the mother of his two kids, visited with their children, Destiny, 17, and Lamar Jr., 13.

Asked from his hospital bed Friday whether he wanted to see his children, the newly conscious Odom was able to indicate “yes,” sources told “Entertainment Tonight’s” Web site.

Also Friday, more sordid details emerged from Odom’s three-day drug-and-sex binge at the notorious Love Ranch brothel.

Owner Dennis Hof revealed that the Queens native had been eager to meet one of his brothel’s most infamous prostitutes, Madison Montag, a curvy 22-year-old transsexual porn star who bears a stunning resemblance to Kim Kardashian.

On arriving at the cathouse Sunday — and paying Hof $75,000 with a credit card for his stay — Odom was given a “lineup” of eight prostitutes from whom to choose.

One of them was Montag, whom Hof calls the first transgendered prostitute licensed by the state of Nevada.

Odom had already met Montag online, becoming pals with her on Instagram, Hof said in an interview with hosts Todd Shapiro and Jay Brady on Sirius XM 168’s “Todd Shapiro Show.”

“In the car on the way out there [from Vegas], he talked about the fact that he had met Madison Montag, our transsexual prostitute, online . . . and he wanted to meet her,” Hof said.

Odom ultimately did not take that walk on the wild side with the 5-foot-1, 100-pound Kim look-alike, who, according to a Love Ranch press release from August, has “fully working male genitalia,” in addition to 32DD breasts.

Instead, he employed Ryder Cherry and Monica Monroe, the two bottle blondes who would find him Tuesday afternoon, passed out and frothing at the mouth in his VIP suite.

For customers, Montag is “the best of both worlds,” Hof had noted in the release, which announced that she had been hired.

“Her brunette hair and big brown eyes also bear a more than casual resemblance to Kim Kardashian,” Hof boasted.

More details emerged Friday on Odom’s drug use during his stay. Odom was injecting “speedballs” — potent combinations of heroin or methadone mixed with liquid cocaine, a Love Ranch source told the Daily Mail. Odom had sent his two hookers out of the room while he shot up, and shouted, “Get the hell out!” when one accidentally came back in and saw him injecting himself, the Mail source said.

This was 6 a.m. Tuesday. Nine hours later, the women returned to the room and found him passed out and foaming at the mouth.

As former NBA star Lamar Odom clings to life in a Las Vegas hospital, his soon-to-be ex-wife Khloe Kardashian and her clan have done what they do best: make the story all about them.

Before the Kardashians even made it to the hospital, there was no dignity here. Odom was found on Tuesday unconscious and face down in a Nevada brothel, choking on his own mucus, damage to his lungs from crack cocaine and track marks on his arms. He’d spent four days and $75,000 there, in a grim whorehouse that most closely resembles a Marriott.

By all accounts, Odom was extremely depressed and out of it, gorging on KFC and T-bone steaks, three at a time. He had to be transported to the nearest hospital by ambulance; he was too large to be airlifted.

Within hours of Odom’s hospitalization, Khloe, Kris and 7-months-pregnant Kim had hopped on a private plane. According to Radar Online, they had a camera crew in tow. (The 11th season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” filming now, premieres next month.) Caitlyn Jenner was en route.

By early Wednesday morning, media outlets such as TMZ, Radar, People, Us Weekly, E! (home of their reality show) and “Entertainment Tonight” suddenly had real-time updates and unobstructed views of matriarch Kris and her daughters outside the hospital, dressed in designer black dresses as if they were all widowed first ladies, straining to show distress on perfectly made-up, Botoxed faces.

The Kardashians let it be known that they “dropped everything” when they heard of Odom’s collapse, as if this were a heroic response rather than a merely decent one. In Khloe’s case, she’d been on a lingerie shoot. In little sister Kylie’s case, she’d been on a Web stream. “I love you guys,” she tweeted. The next day, Kylie donned a tight strapless two-piece and went to the mall. Paparazzi just happened to be there.

Model sister Kendall was flying in from Shanghai Fashion Week. “Please don’t go,” she tweeted. Kim publicly canceled the baby shower she’d planned for this weekend, letting the world know, by the way, that she would have had a “Troop Beverly Hills” theme.

“It’s a s- -t show,” an unnamed source said. “The Kardashians are trying to run everything. They walked into the hospital with cameras rolling. It was shocking, but hardly a surprise…They are all crying and pretending like they care.”

The Kardashians denied they had a camera crew in the hospital, but either way, wanna bet they’re secretly filming with their iPhones? This is a family that commodifies everything, from sex tapes to fertility treatments to Caitlyn Jenner’s transition. People in their orbit are mere utility players — including Odom, who has never been more valuable to them than now.

Odom, 35, and Khloe, 31, filed for divorce in 2013, but he remained an ­unwilling, off-screen character on the show. He reportedly begged his ­estranged wife to stop airing his phone calls and to stop using him as a plot point, but she refused.

“She would tell him, ‘You owe me this after you humiliated me by cheating with other women,’” a source told Radar.

It was reported that Odom became extremely upset last Sunday night after an episode aired in which Khloe once again humiliated her husband. Odom’s best friend had died of drug-related causes, and he’d called Khloe for consolation. She then self-servingly told the cameras that “I’m really on high alert for Lamar because anything, I think, will cause him to spiral and that’s really the last thing I want for him.”

Later in that same episode, Khloe said “my heart dropped to my stomach” when she heard that Odom might have shown up at one of her paid nightclub appearances. Her sister Kim told cameras that the idea of Khloe still talking to Odom “makes me sick.”

Reports from those with Odom on Sunday night said he was “irate” and “inconsolable” after the episode aired.

“He kept saying he was better than the Kardashians and ‘f–k them,’ ” a source told The Daily Mail. “He said all they had ever done for him was exploit him for the show. He went through ­every one of them — Kim, Kris, Caitlyn . . . He felt chewed up and spat out.”

The source added Odom suspected Kris Jenner manipulated Khloe into leaving him for plot purposes. “Now he feels they’re using him to boost the show’s ratings,” the source said.

“Lamar had no idea he was going to be Khloe’s storyline during the past season,” another source told Radar. “She’s always talking about how much she loves the guy, but has no problem exploiting

The man who owns the Nevada brothel where Lamar Odom collapsed last Tuesday is now saying that he came to meet the bunny ranch’s transgender prostitute.

Dennis Hof owns the Love Ranch, and he told The Daily Caller in an exclusive interview that Odom had been messaging Madison Montag on social media.

“Madison is our transsexual prostitute, and she had been talking to Lamar,” Hof told TheDC. “She said he came out there to see her.”
 

“When he was on the way out here, my manager said, ‘Are you going to party with Madison?’ and he said, ‘Maybe.'”

“He ended up with two other girls, and Madison started texting me saying, ‘I got blocked.'”

“Then he got upset Sunday night because he got a phone call about a [Keeping Up with the Kardashians] episode playing where he didn’t look good. Right after that he had everyone sign a confidentially agreement,” Hof said.

The brothel owner also believes Odom planned to commit suicide because no other celebrity has asked the workers to sign a confidentiality agreement, especially a day after he had already been on site.


“The fact that he did it 24 hours after partying seems out of line, and the fact that he spent $75,000 doesn’t fit. It’s almost like he wanted to go out in style.”
