ISIS' Toyota pickups are presents from the CIA
The United States has requested information from Japanese Toyota how it can be that the company's cars have ended up with ISIS in Syria. But now it turns out that the US intelligence agency CIA has delivered 43 pickup vehicles of the brand Toyota to Syrian rebels.
In April this year, the American Public Radio International, interviewed the spokesman for the Syrian rebels, Oubai Shah Bander, who said that the United States was getting rebel groups the 43 Toyota pickups that the Free Syrian Army (FSA) wanted.
"Recently, when the US State Department resumed sending non-lethal aid to Syrian rebels, the delivery list included 43 Toyota trucks."

In the article it emerges that the car model Hilux is popular with "rebel groups" worldwide.
In total, the United States have earmarked $250 million to support the "moderate insurgents," wrote the Washington Post in 2013.
But many of the so-called "rebels" have given up the US-backed groups and brought materials and expertise to IS, which may explain why the terrorist group reigns over a large amount of Toyota Hilux cars today.
Toyota has not delivered any cars directly to Syria since 2012.
