Obama Calls Muslim Terrorists the "Moderate Opposition"
They actually are all terrorists.

Obama and Putin are both lying about Syria. As I discuss in an upcoming article, Obama is there to support Sunni Jihadists while Putin is there to support Shiite Jihadists. They both claim to be fighting ISIS, but that's secondary at best to their true goals.
In his press conference, Obama vomited up the same old lies about "popular protests" against Assad. (Popular protests is spelled Muslim Brotherhood.) In reality, it's a religious civil war between Shiites and Sunnis in Syria. Then Obama claimed that Putin "doesn’t distinguish between ISIL and a moderate Sunni opposition that wants to see Mr. Assad go. From their perspective, they’re all terrorists."
They actually are all terrorists.
If they're not all terrorists, why has Obama backed off arming them? A lot of people in his administration wanted him to do it, but the Pentagon won one of its rare arguments. And Obama realized it would backfire on him.
His own New York Times admitted this two years ago.
Across Syria, rebel-held areas are dotted with Islamic courts staffed by lawyers and clerics, and by fighting brigades led by extremists. Even the Supreme Military Council, the umbrella rebel organization whose formation the West had hoped would sideline radical groups, is stocked with commanders who want to infuse Islamic law into a future Syrian government.
Nowhere in rebel-controlled Syria is there a secular fighting force to speak of.
Nowhere. Zero. Zip.
They're all Jihadists which means they're all terrorists, as far as we're concerned. The Obama administration plays the game of calling Jihadist groups like the Muslim Brotherhood moderates, but even it won't actually back them in Syria once the Brotherhood got displaced by even more ruthless Islamists linked to Al Qaeda.
Obama needs to find some new lies. These are past their sell by date. At least Putin bothers to crank out fresh lies.
