Rush Limbaugh slammed accusations by Vice President Joe Biden's son that Russian agents signed him up for the Ashley Madison extramarital website that was hacked last month.
Hunter Biden has denied having an account with the site, despite an email address that was discovered to match the one that he used.
He also told Breitbart News that he suspected that his enemies, possibly Russian agents, created the fake account to discredit him. Biden serves on the board of a Ukrainian gas company, according to Breitbart.
Biden is an adviser to his father, who is weighing a run for the Democratic presidential nomination.
On his radio-talk show on Friday, Limbaugh threw cold water on Hunter Biden's alibi, explaining it this way:
"When you register at a website, your phone has GPS in it. And your location is always registered. Your latitude and longitude when you sign on to a website, they know where you are. Even if you turn location services off, your phone can still be tracked.
"The location services on your phone gets rid of some trackability," Limbaugh added, "but it doesn't turn off the ability to find out where you are.
"The GPS coordinators for Hunter Biden's account trace right to Georgetown University, where he works.
"So it's obviously his account," Limbaugh concluded. "He had no idea."
