Fox Host Goes on ‘F— You’ Tirade Against Trump — Then The Donald Fired Right Back

By Joe Perticone

Real estate mogul Donald Trump is feuding with pollster Frank Luntz, and now it’s been taken to an entirely new level, with the Fox News polling guru speaking candidly of The Donald’s “f— you” mentality.

In an interview with Politico, Luntz insisted that populist candidates like Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, and more prevalently, Donald Trump, are “delivering a big ‘f— you'” to American elites. He went further:

“But ‘f—- you’ doesn’t solve anything. ‘F—- you’ doesn’t make life any better. ‘F—- you’ makes you feel good, but it doesn’t get you where you need to go. ‘F—- you’ doesn’t make America strong. ‘F—- you’ doesn’t solve anything.”

After the profane harangue by Luntz, Trump fired back, insisting that Luntz is merely playing out a petty vendetta against the 2016 contender.

Trump told Politico that he “caught him cold,” adding that he would have taken swift action against Luntz if he were pulling the strings at Fox:

“And frankly, if I was [Fox News President] Roger Ailes, I’d fire that guy so fast for what he did that his head would spin.”

Reports of Luntz’s disdain for Trump stem from a closed-door event put on by the billionaire Koch brothers, in which Luntz admonished Trump as making a mockery of the democratic process. Following the event organized by the Koch brothers, Luntz conducted a focus group where the participants ripped Trump’s performance in the first GOP primary debate in Cleveland.

The latest CNN/ORC poll released Tuesday morning revealed that approximately 24 percent Republicans support Trump in 2016, placing him in the top spot among Republicans. Trump also maintains a whopping 58 percent unfavorability amongst registered voters.

Lot of people who care about the country and the GOP and disagree that Trump is the solution to anything are having an exploding head moment.

Let me throw this into the mix, since this is such a bizarre topic for comment anyway.

If Donald Trump should be the nominee, he wins the general. Just my opinion, but it is based on the fact that the Democrats have no one willing to follow a failed president and failed presumptive nominee. There is no one even on the horizon with the chops to beat Donald Trump.

Trump's a great candidate for conservative/libertarian voters and many democrats and especially independents. He can't be bought or intimidated by party politics. That makes him an attractive candidate to many.

Ok, aligncare, I'll put you down as the one who "called it first" in this forum.

You're right, of course.
That's why those most opposed to the notion of a Trump candidacy are..... Republicans!
