Indonesia authorities are searching for a passenger plane that disappeared on Sunday with 54 people on board.
The Trigana Air Service turboprop had just taken off from the capital of the Papua province, Jayapura, when it lost contact with air traffic controllers, according to officials.
In addition to five crew members, 44 adult passengers and five children were on board the flight to Oksibil.
"We strongly suspect it's a weather issue. It is not overcapacity, as the plane could take 50 passengers," Beni Sumaryanto, a Trigana Air official, told AFP.
Indonesian search and rescue officials say the search will resume Monday morning.
