BREAKING: Truck Bomb In Baghdad Kills Over 60, Wounds Hundreds More (UPDATED with Video)

On Thursday morning, news broke, first via Twitter, that a truck bomb attack killed more than 60 and possibly as many as 70 people and wounded many more in a mainly Shiite area of North Baghdad. Detonating at around 6:00 am Baghdad time in a Sadr City market, more than 200 people were injured in addition to the fatalities according to reports on Twitter. Update: The AP reports at 4:15 am ET that ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack. It does not appear to have been a suicide bombing.
Reuters reports:
"A refrigerator truck packed with explosives blew up inside Jamila market at around 6 a.m. (0300 GMT)," police officer Muhsin al-Saedi said. "Many people were killed and body parts were thrown on top of nearby buildings."
Photos showing the extreme devastation of the powerful blast have been shared widely on social media as well.
