Obama, Hillary Push Homosexuality on Africa

Among the important questions America puts before presidential candidates should be this: “Will you pledge to stop using the executive branch to spread inaccurate, divisive homosexual propaganda to other nations?”
Obama’s obsession with exporting the “LGBT” agenda came up again recently when Obama visited his ancestral country of Kenya and used his speech to plead the standard victimhood narrative, that it’s wrong to “discriminate” against harmless inborn differences that aren’t hurting anyone. Yet this denial of reality is unpersuasive to those who know better.
Obama and his administration don’t seem to care about the inevitable harm to children and families. In Kenya, elsewhere in Africa, and globally, the U.S. pressure on vulnerable populations is enormous.
Our State Department under Hillary Clinton even started a private-public program, the Global Equality Fund, to plant grass roots homosexual activists to organize for this “human right.” Obama just appointed a new envoy for global “LGBTI” rights, Randall Berry, who has already offended Christian majorities in nations like Jamaica.
But wait, there’s more. The funding stream to global homosexual advocacy is steady and increasing, coming straight from Obama buddies, including one infamous name in the “gay rights” movement.
Kevin Jennings, founder of GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, and former safe schools “czar” in the U.S. Department of Education, has moved on. Since 2012, he has been in a king-maker role as the executive director of the Arcus Foundation, which grants millions each year to homosexual groups.
Arcus is the charitable arm of the Stryker Corporation in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The head, Jon Stryker, is an open homosexual and strongly committed to funding this cause. He has a personal net worth of $2.1 billion, according to Forbes.
Some Arcus grantees are domestic, but many are global. The thrust of Arcus African-based efforts in the past two years is staggering.
For instance, the Pembizo Christian Council, Nairobi, Kenya received $95,000 in 2014 from Arcus, “to create a counter-narrative to condemning religious voices in support of LGBTI persons in Africa.”
Other Sheep Africa received $40,000 in 2013 to engage Muslim leaders to accept “LGBTI persons” in Kenya and East Africa and $50,000 in 2014 for similar efforts in the 12 provinces of Kenya.
The Yvette A. Flunder Foundation is an Oakland, CA -based group named after a radical lesbian “bishop.” This group received $100,000 from Arcus in 2014, for “a coalition of 20 clergy in Rwanda and Zimbabwe who create inclusive Christian communities, and to sustain and nurture spokespersons in Kenya to speak in the context of faith in affirmation and acceptance of sexual minorities.”
Church World Service is a refugee organization with a web site that gives few clues to radical homosexual activism. But they received $125,000 in 2013 “to increase faith voices in support of LGBT refugee and migrant protection in Kenya and South Africa” as well advocacy for U.S. policy change.
Hivos in the Netherlands received a grant of $250,000 in 2013 for “policy and culture change regarding SOGI human rights, primarily via re-granting, in Indonesia, Kenya and South Africa.” SOGI is the acronym for “sexual orientation and gender identity.”
And this is just the tip of the Arcus funding spear. Other recent Arcus African recipients for “LGBT” efforts include Chemchemi Ya Ukweli ($50,000, Kenya); Heartland Alliance of Chicago, $150,000 for legal services for African “sexual rights”; Human Rights Watch ( $300,000 for an “LGBT” advocacy project in Africa and Eastern Europe); Protestant Episcopal Church Chicago Diocese ( $175,000 in 2014 to change the Anglican Communion’s opposition in Africa to homosexuality); The Inner Circle ( $100,000 in 2014 for Muslim African “LGBT” advocacy in Capetown, South Africa); and African Men for Sexual Health and Rights ($100,000 to advocate for “SOGI” laws).
And then there’s Gender DynamiX, recipient of $100,000 in 2013 “to strengthen trans and intersex organizations in Africa.” And the Coalition of African Lesbians of Johannesburg received $100,000 from Arcus in 2013. George Soros’ Open Society is also a supporter of this group.
There are many additional pro-“gay” Arcus initiatives in Africa and many more in Asia and Eastern Europe. Arcus also writes large checks to groups for re-granting, like the Council for Global Equality, which received $500,000 “to ensure secure and consistent U.S. government support for the fair treatment, equal rights, and developmental needs of LGBT people globally.”
But that’s not the only place where Arcus puts its homosexual advocacy dollars. Two other recipients are agencies of the U.S. government. That’s right– a private, radical pro-homosexual group is donating to both our State Department, through its Global Equality Fund, and the Centers for Disease Control’s foundation.
In 2013, Arcus gave over $320,000 to the CDC Foundation for a program of the CDC Division of Adolescent and School Health on “LGBT” adolescents.
But back to the global agenda. The Hillary Clinton-initiated Global Equality Fund has become an arm of U.S. foreign policy. The GEF, with private advocacy donors ( like Arcus, which gave $1 million in 2012), uses the imprimatur of the U.S. State Department to browbeat poor countries into embracing homosexual and transgender behavior, enacting same sex “marriage,” and encouraging these behaviors among youth. The radical Human Rights Campaign is also a donor.
Thankfully, many African countries are standing strong and resisting threats by the U.S. to withhold both foreign aid and assistance in fighting terrorism.
Here’s a question for Hillary Clinton: “If you are elected, how large do you anticipate the Global Equality Fund would become, and how much would George Soros, Kevin Jennings and the Human Rights Campaign contribute?”
Imagine what liberals would say if the ATF conducted programs funded by the National Rifle Association.
Our government’s goal in Africa should be humanitarian aid and assistance in fighting terrorism, not pushing a deviant agenda. And certainly not with the help of Kevin Jennings and others who seek to destroy faith and families.
