D.A.R.E. Published an Op-ed Calling for Marijuana Legalization

The war on drugs is over, and weed won. D.A.R.E., the organization designed to plant a deep-seated fear of drugs in the minds of every late-20th-century middle schooler, published an op-ed calling for marijuana legalization.

In Surf City California, the "Surf City Collective" medical marijuana dispensary was planning to do a fundraiser for the police.

But the police department warned them off, stating the city is trying to have them shut down. The business is open now, and they have a very steady stream of customers. The city's efforts will be along the lines of "not within 300 ft. of this, or that other activity."

The business is in a medium sized boulevard strip center, and they have their own security to avoid people doing drugs in the parking lot. The business is NOT close to schools, parks, churches, etc.
