Liberals Complain About There Being Too Many White Prosecutors

The entire liberal media — from NPR to The Atlantic, Mother Jones and of course the NY Times — went out of its way this week to report on a study that found that 95 percent of elected prosecutors are white, that 79 percent are white males and that three in five states have zero black elected prosecutors.
“The study also draws a direct link from the prominence of white prosecutors to a lack of indictments in cases over the past year in which police have killed black men and women,” wrote Mashable contributor Collin Daileda.
The study reportedly mentioned Mike Brown, who we know for an irrefutable fact died justifiably at the hands of Ferguson Officer Darren Wilson, the race of the prosecutor notwithstanding.
“The lack of indictments in those three killings draw an obvious contrast to the indictments levied against six Baltimore police officers for the recent killing of Freddie Gray,” Daileda continued.
“Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby, who announced the charges on May 1, is a black woman, meaning she falls into the 1% of of minority women prosecutors in the U.S.”
It sounds as if the liberal media believes we need more people like Marilyn Mosby serving as prosecutors. Why? Because she happens to be black.
Forget the fact that she also happens to be a sleazy, crooked and unprofessional charlatan who not only frequently hobnobs with political activists, but who poses in magazine spreads, issues illegitimate gag orders and favorites anti-cop tweets.
This woman represents everything a prosecutor ought not be. And yet the liberal media views her as the alpha and omega of criminal justice reform for no other reason than the fact she happens to be black.
“There’s a new sense that African-American prosecutors can make a difference,” Georgetown law professor Paul Butler explained to NPR.
“We can call that the Marilyn Mosby effect.”
Yayyyy … (sarcasm alert)
