So too is the Mainstream Media to blame of course as it has willfully aided in the ongoing deception of a good man’s legacy so as to further a narrow and divisive political agenda.
Yesterday President Obama made a much-promoted appearance at the memorial for recently slain pastor and South Carolina State Senator Clementa Pinckney who was among eight others murdered by a troubled young man during Bible study at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church last week. During that appearance, Mr. Obama said little about Clementa Pinckney’s true work and legacy and much more about Barack Obama’s own political agenda against a nation he once again claimed to be suffering from deep-rooted racism.
It was all a lie…
In two independent media reports it was proven that as a senator, Mr. Pinckney voted in FAVOR of the Confederate flag and AGAINST gay marriage:

In his eulogy speech, Barack Obama claimed that taking down the Confederate flag was “God’s will.”
If so, then Senator Pinckney, according to Barack Obama’s own determination of the Almighty, was in violation of “God’s will” when he voted in favor of placing the flag on the South Carolina state house grounds. And apparently, so too was Mr. Pinckney in violation of Barack Obama’s version of “God’s will” when he voted that the only legal marriage recognized by the state of South Carolina was one between a man and a woman.
Perhaps more pertinent to his untimely death and the president’s misrepresentation of his legacy though, are Reverend Pinckney’s recent words at a Civil War remembrance ceremony just a few months before he was slain. There Mr. Pinckney remarked of the great losses to both sides, as well as the great honor to be found within both the Confederate and Union forces and that he, even as an African American pastor, “honors ALL the troops who gave their lives during this time.” It is an understanding of history that explains his vote to support the raising of the Confederate flag upon the South Carolina statehouse grounds.
Please watch some of this speech which I think exemplifies the character of this man. It is a speech on race, on unification, on actual American history for which figures like Barack Obama have never approached in either scope or sincerity. Reverend Clementa Pinckney was a Democrat, and on some issues, a liberal in direct conflict to many of my own political views. That said, he seems to have been a remarkable, humble, and highly intelligent man and his loss is the loss of the entire Charleston community. This country needs more voices like his and fewer like so many of the self-promoting politicians who presently plague Washington D.C.
