The 20-Year Drop In Violent Crime Is Coming To An End – Thanks To Obama And His Race-Baiting Friends

There’s a new crime wave sweeping the nation and it threatens to thwart the decades-long slump in violent crime.
It’s violent crime in the cities – black parts of the cities, specifically – and it’s a direct result of race-baiting by our nation’s leaders, starting with President Obama.
The Wall Street Journal calls it the “Ferguson Effect.” It’s the rise in shootings and homicides in major cities in the last year or two.
In Milwaukee, murders are up 180 percent. In St. Louis, up 39 percent. In Atlanta, 32 percent, Chicago, 17 percent. Shooting in Los Angeles are up 25 percent and in New York City, murder is up 13 percent.
Breaking it down by neighborhood, the Journal finds an even more startling trend. In East Harlem, shootings are up an astonishing 500 percent. In South Central Los Angeles, shootings are up 100 percent.
This is a result of making every incident where a black man is shot by law enforcement into a racial incident. The vast majority aren’t – but a few are – and Obama and his friends AL Sharpton, Eric Holder and others – are happy to paint a picture of violent, murderous, racist police out to get and kill all black people – specifically black men.
And those black men who believe them (and why shouldn’t they? We’re talking about the President of the United States) are more likely to be agitated, and aggressive toward police. More likely to resist. More likely to fight back. And more likely to get shot.
And police, being demonized as murderous, racist thugs are on the defensive. They’re more likely to be agitated when they pull over a black male – maybe more likely to have their hand a little closer to their firearm – maybe more likely to pull that gun out.
And the cycle continues. But we know where it started.
