The bizarre story of a teenager who was kidnapped by a family friend after he murdered her mom and brother has been made into a Lifetime movie - and left the victim furious.

Hannah Anderson posted angry remarks on social media about the made-for-TV movie, calling the show 'a lie' and saying she was not consulted. A description of the movie reads: 'As the dust settled, questions began to emerge about the nature of the relationship between Hannah and her kidnapper...and what really happened?'

Hannah, then 16, was abducted by James DiMaggio, 40, in August 2013 after he bludgeoned her mother, eight-year-old brother and pet dog, in Lakeside, California and burned down his cabin with the bodies inside.

DiMaggio fled with her to the Idaho wilderness where she was rescued six days later by FBI agents who shot and killed the kidnapper, a man whom she called 'Uncle Jim'.
