Delta Force Just Took Out This ISIS Leader In A Way That Will Have Terrorists Cowering In Fear
The result could mean a big blow to the terrorist organization's finances.

A daring weekend mission that resulted in the death of ISIS leader Abu Sayyaf is being hailed as a success by many military and elected officials. Sayyaf was believed to have been in charge of much of the terrorist group’s Syrian oil and gas operations as well as serving as a combatant.
Not only did the elite Delta Force commandos take out a dangerous foe; the manner in which they secured victory is also drawing praise.
“It was a real firefight,” one defense source confirmed to Fox News, “a no kidding, old school firefight.”
Reports indicate U.S. forces were able to surreptitiously cross into Iraq Saturday before killing a dozen ISIS members – including Abu Sayyaf. The Delta Force team also reportedly captured Sayyaf’s wife – also described as an ISIS member with direct ties to terrorist activities – during the operation.
During the raid, Sayyaf attempted to shield himself with women and children, necessitating the use of hand-to-hand combat on the part of U.S. forces. In the end, pundits and military insiders believe the mission put at least a temporary halt to certain illegal oil deals that have helped fund ISIS.
Fox News correspondent John Huddy insisted that the raid and Sayyaf’s death “could really significantly impact ISIS’ financial operations.”
Furthermore, the team gathered vital intelligence about ISIS activities – as well as historical artifacts being stored at the location. The commando team was also able to free a woman believed to have been held captive by the terrorist group.
Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio called the mission’s result “good news,” explaining that “any time you can degrade or take away top leadership of an organization, it’s a positive step forward.”
