A loud explosion has rocked the Afghan capital after a suicide bomber detonated explosives after failing to ram his vehicle into a NATO military installation.
The Afghan Interior Minsitry told Al Jazeera on Sunday that at least 15 people were wounded in the attack.
Al Jazeera's Jennifer Glasse, reporting from Kabul, said some of those injured included foreigners.
The Reuters news agency reported that the suicide bomber rammed his car into a convoy of foreign troops on the road from Kabul's main airport to the NATO building.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility, although Taliban fighters have launched a wave of attacks around the country since the drawdown of most foreign troops last year to a small training force.
