We had the Iraq won.. We had Afghanistan won..  But this bozo lost them both... Besides I remember in 08, I remember hearing that the Afghanistan war was the good war..

Which is why he sent in more troops to die and be injured, tied their hands with his evil ROE, sidled up with the enemy, supported deserters, and encouraged the Taliban with his 'date certain.'

He wanted us to lose even the war that he lied about during his campaign, calling it the 'good war.'

He didn't want the stupid voters to know he was going to work hard to lose it too.

I have a feeling we are going to get hit by ISIS here... I don't know when, or how, but my gut feeling is that we will get hit....

They'll try, though it's a fairly low priority for them right now.

If you look at what they are doing, it's a two pronged attack - the main thrust is taking and holding territory (or destroying what they can't hold on the salted earth principal) but shit stirring around the edges to keep the big boys distracted is also used. Targeted attacks of opportunity in Yemen, Nigeria, Libya, Pakistan, Afghanistan are not to expand their caliphate - it's to keep Saudi, Egypt, Iran, Israel, Jordan and the West off balance WHILE they dig in.

An attack on a large Western power is certainly on the cards, but it'll be like Boston, not 9/11. Home grown terrorists with no real connection to the bosses in charge.
