Pakistan Taliban: “Muslims are commanded by Allah to keep their enemies terrorized”

Our Right to Spread TerrorHere is a justification of terrorism, argued on the basis of the claim that it is a strategy of warfare, universally practiced, and that it is commanded in the Qur’an and was practiced by Muhammad. The article makes reference to Muhammad’s beheading of 600 Jews of the Qurayzah tribe — an incident Islamic apologists in the West routinely claim never happened. In reality, all of this material has no historical value, but this incident does appear in the earliest biography of Muhammad, that of Ibn Ishaq, and the fact that some Muslims believe it happened is attested by this article. The author also takes for granted that his readers will know of the incident.

Will a moderate Muslim spokesman in the West who has been churning out articles about how the Islamic State and other jihad groups are un-Islamic kindly explain how the Qur’an references here, as well as the references to incidents in Muhammad’s life, are being misused or misrepresented? I’ll be right here.

“In Issue II Of Ihya-e-Khilafat, Pakistani Taliban Commander Justifies ISIS Savagery & Beheadings: ‘One Of The Titles Of The Prophet Was Nabi Al-Malahim, Which Means Prophet Of Fierce Battles Or Bloodshed,'” MEMRI, March 2, 2015 (thanks to Pamela Geller):

Given below are excerpts from an article written by a leading Pakistani Taliban commander in the second issue of an English-language jihadist magazine.

The English-language magazine Ihya-e-Khilafat is published by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Jamaatul Ahrar (TTPJA) led by Omar Khalid Khorasani, a leading Taliban commander who broke away from the TTP over issues of leadership. The article, titled “Our Right To Spread Terror”, is written by Khorasani himself and is noteworthy in light of the savagery shown by the Islamic State (ISIS) in Iraq and Syria.

The second issue of the magazine, dated December 2014, was published some time ago and posted on various social media sites. The TTPJA began publishing the English-language magazine in the summer of 2014, edited by Dr. Abu Obaidah Al-Islamabadi, a Pakistani surgeon who was educated in England and moved to Pakistan along with his comrades last year.

…We see strong evidences in Koran and Sunnah [traditions of Prophet Muhammad] about terrorizing our enemies and we also see our enemies utilizing terror techniques against us.”“In The Battle Of Badr, Prophet [Muhammad] Ordered To Bring The Head Of The Kuffar’s Injured Leader Abu Jahal. That Gives Us Clear Justification To Behead Our Enemies”

“So when we are regarded as terrorists by our enemies, we take it as a medal of honor on our chests and we feel that we are successfully carrying out our duty of terrorizing Kuffar and munafiqeen [hypocrite Muslims].

“Very commonly we hear the term ‘terrorism’ in the media to describe the holy struggle of jihad and similarly the most beloved people to Allah, i.e. [when] Mujahideen fi Sabeelillah [Mujahideen fighting in the way of Allah] are branded as ‘terrorists.’ The propagandists of the Kuffar are trying to attach a negative connotation and meaning to the words ‘terrorism’ and ‘terrorists’ like Allah told us about this trick of the Kuffar – that they change the meanings of the words (Koran 5:13). But we mujahideen adopt the meaning of terrorism that is to strike fear in the hearts of enemies of Allah.

“Our beloved Prophet PBUH [peace be upon him] was Rahmatullah lil Aalimeen (mercy for all the worlds) but he was also a superb warrior. One of the titles of Prophet was Nabi Al-Malahim, which means ‘Prophet of fierce battles or bloodshed.’ Even in those battles like Uhud and Hunain when companions [of the prophet] had to retreat due to ferocity of enemy’s attack, the Prophet did not take a step back, rather kept on moving forward.

“Ali bin Abi Talib used to say that whenever the battle got hard and rough, we used to take refuge behind Muhammad for protection. In the battle of Badr, Prophet [Muhammad] ordered to bring the head of Kuffar’s injured leader Abu Jahal. That gives us clear justification to behead our enemies.”

“600 Adult Jews Were Put To The Sword On The Orders Of The Prophet And They Could Not Raise Even A Finger In Protest; The Same Element Of Fear, Terror And Awe Was Evident In The Strategy Of The Prophet When He Attacked Mecca”

“Our Prophet was very kind to the believers and general public but when it came to dealing with the enemies of Deen [the religion] of Allah, he used to strike fear in the hearts of those Kuffar and hypocrites. Just how the Prophet laid the siege of Jewish tribes Banu Qainuqah and Banu Nudhair after they broke the agreement and the two tribes surrendered without putting up any resistance despite having arms and fortresses.

“Similarly a few years later, the Jews of third tribe Banu Quraizah also surrendered without a fight when the Prophet surrounded them, because the Jews colluded with the enemies of Muslims in the Battle of Trench (Ghazwah Khandaq). The 600 adult Jews were put to the sword on the orders of the Prophet and they could not raise even a finger in protest. The same element of fear, terror and awe was evident in the strategy of the Prophet when he attacked Mecca that was the center of Arabia. Meccan Kuffar accepted defeat after little resistance and the city was captured without much fighting.

“After the Prophet, Sahabah [his companions] also maintained the tactic of instilling terror into the hearts of enemies. City of Jerusalem was conquered by the Muslims during the time of Umar bin Al-Khattab [the second caliph] and the disbelievers handed over the keys of city to Emir-ul-Momineen [Leader of the Faithful] without a fight. This was due to psychological dominance of Sahabah in the minds of the Kuffar due to their previous victories against Persian and Byzantine superpowers of that time.”

“[Islamic Commander] Khalid Bin Waleed, In Order To Terrorize The Enemy In One Battle, Ordered To Cook The Severed Head Of A Kafir [Infidel] And At Another Occasion He Sent A Message To The Army Of The Kuffar That He Had Come To Drink Their Blood”

“[Islamic commander] Khalid bin Waleed, in order to terrorize the enemy in one battle, ordered to cook the severed head of a Kafir [infidel] and at another occasion he sent a message to the army of the Kuffar that he had come to drink their blood (Al Badaya Wan Nahaya by Ibn Kathir). When it was becoming difficult for the Muslim army to conquer the city of Samarkand, Sahabah ignited a fire in the hot weather to scare the enemy, giving them impression that the Muslims were different and much tougher than rest of the people.

“Nabi Al-Malahim [Prophet of Fierce Battles or Bloodshed Muhammad] told us about striking terror in the hearts of enemies… Allah’s Messenger [Muhammad] said, ‘I have been given five things which were not given to any among the prophets before me. These are:

“* Allah made me victorious by fear (by His terrorizing my enemies) from a distance of one month’s journey.

“* The earth has been made for me (and for my followers) a place for praying and a thing to perform Tayammum. Therefore my followers can pray wherever the time of a prayer is due.

“* The war booty has been made Halal (lawful) for me (and was not made so for anyone else).

“* Every prophet used to be sent to his nation exclusively but I have been sent to all mankind.

“* I have been given the right of intercession (on the Day of Resurrection).

“[As cited in the authentic book of Hadiths called] Sahih Bukhari

“Above all, our Lord Allah orders us in Koran: … And make ready against them all you can of power, including steeds of war (tanks, planes, missiles, artillery, etc.) to terrorize the enemy of Allah and your enemy. (Koran 8:60)”

“Filming Of Bloodshed By [ISIS]… Has Been Quite Impressive And That Is The Reason The Kuffar Are Getting Really Scared Of The Islamic State”; “We Were Terrorists, We Are Terrorists And We Shall Remain Terrorist, Allah Willing”

“It is clear from the above discussion that Muslims are commanded by Allah to keep their enemies terrorized. Terrorism is a strategy of war and it’s proven from Hadiths of the Prophet and Islamic history. Moreover, we see our enemies like Americans and their servant Pakistan Army also using modern ways of terrorism. Sadly some elements among the mujahideen of Afghanistan and Pakistan have developed apologetic thinking due to the propaganda of the Kuffar and they are reluctant to film and broadcast even the dead bodies of enemies.

“However, filming of bloodshed by [ISIS] mujahideen of Iraq and Syria has been quite impressive and that is the reason the Kuffar are getting really scared of the Islamic State. It is the command of Allah to treat Kuffar with ‘Ghilzah’ (harshness: reference Koran 9:73, 123). Hence we are warning the Kuffar of the whole world and those Muslims who are impressed by the propaganda of the Kuffar that we shall continue to spread terrorism and havoc until Shariah is implemented and Khilafah [caliphate] is established over the whole world.

“We shall continue to instill fear and terror in the hearts of the Kuffar until we make Deen of Allah dominant everywhere. We are those who are not deterred, impressed or demoralized by the blames of the blamers (Koran 5:54). We were terrorists, we are terrorists and we shall remain terrorist, Allah willing.”
