(Note : CAIR is the same group that was classified as a terrorists group by the UAE and the Obama Administration is fighting the UAE to have them removed from the terrorist list due to their ties to the white house:
This statement wasn't shocking to many people who have been skeptical of CAIR and the push for Sharia law in the United States. Groups like ISIS have already proven to the world that many Muslims feel that they are above the law of the land, otherwise they wouldn't be committing Jihad and killing their fellow-man all in the name of Allah.
While CAIR tries to claim that they want Muslims and non-Muslims to live in harmony with each other and that the belief of extremism and true Sharia are only the beliefs of a few radicals on the fringes of the religion, statements like this from their Dallas director suggest otherwise. If they truly believed that, why would one of their directors be spouting lawlessness and promoting ignoring the laws of where they live at a Muslim rally? Is he suggesting that Muslims ignore the laws so they can follow Sharia and practice honor killings, Jihad, and other extreme practices that are illegal in most lands? It seems that the real fringe of Islam are those that reject Jihad and honor killings....
