A-Hole Protestors Dump Red Paint On Memorial For Fallen Police Officers

Some truly classless scumbags essentially declared war on the Denver Police Department on Saturday. In what was described as a “peaceful” march, some of the protestors defaced a memorial to fallen officers by spilling red paint all over it.

The Denver Post reports:

Protesters dumped red paint on a memorial honoring more than 70 fallen police officers Saturday afternoon. They also plastered stickers on the memorial and nearby pillars.

“Some of these people were my friends,” Police Cmdr. Matt Murray said, gesturing to the memorial. “This is disrespectful and I don’t think it displays the values of this community. We’re extremely disappointed.”

Denver police said two males were arrested for criminal mischief after the protest ended. Firefighters assisted in quickly cleaning the memorial.

ABC 7 adds:

Photos taken by Denver Police showed red paint over the granite memorial. Protest stickers were also attached to the monument. One of the stickers said “What goes around comes around.”

Isn’t that quaint? Not only did they symbolically douse the memorial in blood, they also issued a threat to kill police officers.

The protestors claim to be part of activist hacker group Anonymous and wanted the march from the Denver Capitol to the Denver Police Headquarters to call attention to police shootings.

Some protesters held signs in support of Jessica Hernandez, a 17-year-old who was fatally shot by police last month while she was driving a stolen car toward officers. Others carried signs with the message, “Free Sharod,” referencing a 23-year-old man shot by a Denver police officer last month during a traffic stop.

A flyer the protestors were passing out read in part:

We demand justice for every single person who has been killed, maimed, kidnapped, and wounded by Denver police.

The Denver Post also noted that the group had a “security detail” with them:

As they marched, the protesters chanted about justice and police brutality. A group of men described by marchers as “security” kept the protesters in a tight group. Each wore a mask made of black bandanas printed with AK-47s on them.

These protestors were trying to gain attention, and they certainly have. They have shown the world what a bunch of disrespectful losers they are. They have proven themselves to be unreasonable and dangerous people that think justice is bloody revenge.

Much like the NYC protestors that were chanting for “dead cops” these Denver extremists are calling for a war against the police simply because officers have the difficult job of enforcing the law and protecting the public.
