Texas: Muslim college student admits making up claim that gunman followed and threatened her

Posted on February 14, 2015 by creeping

Another fake hate crime perpetrated by a Muslim. A hoax. A total fabrication bought hook, line and sinker by the media so eager to destroy America. The lie should be prosecuted as a hate crime.

A UT-Arlington student who claimed she was threatened at gunpoint on campus this week admitted Friday that she’d lied, a university spokeswoman said.

The student told police she hadn’t even been at the school the day she said the incident occurred.

UT-Arlington had been investigating the complaint with Arlington, Denton and University of North Texas police, school spokeswoman Kristen Sullivan said.

Officials have not released the student’s name, and it was unclear Friday night whether she would be charged with filing a false police report.

The student could not be reached for comment.

University President Vistasp M. Karbhari said in a written statement that he appreciated the police efforts in the case.

“We take these issues very seriously,” he said. “The safety and security of all UT Arlington students, faculty and staff is our utmost concern.”

The university had issued an alert Friday that the student told police she had been followed six miles by a man in a pickup before she reached the campus. She had reported that when she parked at the university, the man threatened her and pointed a gun at her before he left.

The student also posted on social media that the man might have targeted her because she is Muslim. In a Facebook post, she referred to the killings of three Muslim students this week in Chapel Hill, N.C.

The student’s identity is being protected by the media while who barely even mention that she is Muslim now that it’s a confirmed hoax crime. It’s “open season” alright. Open season for Muslims to keep lying as they try to spread sharia.

Remember how terror-group CAIR blamed the murder of a Muslim woman in California on Americans…until it was found out the Muslim husband killed her. And the media ignored suddenly dropped the story? We remember.

It's always a 'white' racist doing these terrible things to peaceful muslims!

Someone should tell this pos that Islam is not a race and being half black myself, I reserve the rights to using the 'race' card!

Muslim Hate Crime Hoax Exploiting Chapel Hill Shootings Exposed

Posted By Daniel Greenfield On February 15, 2015 @ 1:51 am In The Point | 3 Comments

While the facts show that the Chapel Hill shootings were the result of a parking dispute, Obama and Muslim activists have chosen to promote the myth that it was a hate crime. One hoax then predictably leads to another.

A UT Arlington student’s claim that she was threatened by a gunman in one of the school’s parking lots has turned out to be false.

In a post that turned viral on Facebook, an apparent Muslim student named Ambreen Sharif claimed she was driving to campus on Feb. 11 when a white pickup truck decorated with “large Texas flags” began following her.

Sharif claimed the truck followed her for six miles until she parked, and then blocked her in by parking behind her.

She then stated a man got out of the truck, approached her vehicle and screamed “watch the f**k out, we’re killing all of you.”

She also said the man pointed a gun straight at her.

“I have felt no closer to death before,” Sharif stated in her post. “I also closed my eyes and said Laa ilaha ill Allah, Mohammudur Rasool Ullah.

“He could have very easily put a bullet straight in my face. He could have very easily killed me.”

Sharif’s post had been shared more than 850 times on Facebook by Friday morning.

There was just one problem. Reality.

The student who reported being threatened at gunpoint by an unknown suspect on campus earlier this week admitted to police Friday that the incident did not happen, a UT Arlington spokesperson said.

University spokeswoman Kristin Sullivan said in a follow up interview with police, the student told police she had not been on campus that day and the confrontation did not happen.

This isn’t the first time this sort of thing has happened. It’s a regular pattern.

Safia Z. Jilani, 19, of Oak Brook is expected to plead not guilty Monday when arraigned on a felony charge of filing a false police report. If convicted, she faces a possible sentence of probation or up to three years in prison.

Prosecutors said Jilani told police her assailant beat her with a pistol about 8:30 p.m. Oct. 9 after she entered a washroom in the Schaible Science Center, where the masked man had scribbled racial slurs on the walls.

One week earlier, she reported finding anti-Muslim slogans and a swastika written inside of her locker. She said the incident prompted her to speak at the Oct. 9 diversity rally, where she read a poem advocating peace and understanding despite the actions against her.

That just keeps happening.

Police at Montclair State University have charged a student with filing a false report after an investigation determined that his claim that he was assaulted outside a residence hall was untrue, the school said Monday.

Navjoat Aulakh, 18, of Carteret allegedly said three white men assaulted him and called him an “Islamic terrorist” outside Whitman Hall Thursday night. An alert was issued to students and staff.

But in an email on Friday, Police Chief Paul Cell said an investigation determined Aulakh’s story was “fabricated.”

The only difference between these hoaxes and the Chapel Hill hoax being promoted by the media is that three people really were shot, but it had nothing to do with their religion.

Promoting hate crime hoaxes is still irresponsible.

She put the lie up on Facebook, now she should be forced to put her confession up on her Facebook page as well.
