Meh. Don't dislike either team, can't get excited about them either.

Thoughts so far.

Who in the world chose the Seahawks music?

3 times to hit mute this superbowl- any time Bob Costas speaks, Katy Perry, and any time Bob Costas speaks.

Nice job on the National Anthem but the crowd was disrespectful. I understand the cheering when our troops were on the big screen, but then booing Belichick during the anthem was low class.

I want to see Jurassic World!!!!

I really was hoping Anonymous hacked the Super Bowl with that Chevy commercial.

"Ball Checker" - worst job title in the NFL.

Ironically, also the nickname for Bob Costas' assistant.

Used to love Super Bowl Sundays. Been a long time, though – since the 49ers and Joe Montana (with the coolest name in football history) dominated the 80s – since I been excited by football.

In our house, it has turned into a big snark fest. Like watching Mystery Science Theater 3K.
That, and a shrimp boil big enough to feed a SEAL team, for just the two of us.

That's the part of Super Bowl Sundays I miss the most. The eating! Now I watch my calories. Ugh.

Without satellite or cable, I wish there was a way I could peek into the game online.

Do you have a Verizon smartphone or tablet?  The NFL app streams it for free.

Yeah, I saw that info at NFL.com. And no, I'm not with Verizon or other wireless carrier, yet. Just a Fios  high-speed Internet connection.

That's okay. The NFL website usually has a nice interactive display to follow along with.

Snickers commercial with Danny Trejo and the Brady Bunch was really funny.

That's one guy who would probably be a hoot to have a beer with.

Excuse me?  Are we talking about the same game?

....then again, this is the "Soup" bowl thread.

She diva'd the hell out of that rendition.

Color analyst just said that the Patriots are smothering the Seahawks in man-on-man coverage.  There's no place for Wilson to throw.

We finally got smart this year and got an antennae.  Yeah, an antennae.  We pick up 23 local, network and public broadcasting channels - and that was just putting it by the window.  After the initial cost to buy the antennae - there are no other costs.  We get NBC free, so we're able to watch the game.  I think you have to have a pretty new TV to be able to do it though.

I had forgotten how stupid network tv is in the daytime.   **nononono*

But I do enjoy the PBS stations!

I feel like such a clone! Why haven't I thought of that? What a great idea. I live in a major metropolitan area; there are surly plenty of broadcast stations available. I can't believe I hadn't thought of it! Goes to show how cable and satellite has replaced broadcast for information and entertainment for a growing segment of society.

In NYC? Oh, my goodness. You will be SHOCKED at how much free TV there is in that city.

Here's a list:

As for me, out in the sticks, I pretty much HAVE to subscribe to a cable provider.

Pretty good game forming here.......
