Report: 3 people taken hostage by gunman at post office in Colombes, near Paris

Three people have been taken hostage by an unknown gunman at a post office in Colombes, a commune in the northwestern suburbs of Paris

 

The gunman is armed with a Kalashnikov rifle, France's RTL Radio reported.

Here we go again. I really feel for the average Joe in Paris who is unable to defend himself. Even a beat cop can't carry a firearm.

It's time European countries took a serious look at passing an equivalent of the Second Amendment, and allowing their citizens to be armed. Except of course, for the Swiss. Ever notice the number of terrorist attacks in Switzerland?

Their right extends to issuing real firearms and training every citizen on them. They do it right.

Well... the French did muster up the courage to disarm everyone and pass laws against things like this.  Kinda like the Aussies did and the libs in the U.S. want to.

What we all need are more law-abiding criminals, not more guns, right...       :silly:
