Purse-Snatching Robber Executes Southeast Missouri State University Student Robert “Bobby” Christman

Early Sunday morning, a purse-snatching robber shot and killed 19-year-old Southeast Missouri State University state Robert “Bobby” Christman “as he sat in a car parked next to the City Museum in downtown St. Louis,” reports the Riverfront Times:
Christman, a 2013 graduate of De Smet Jesuit High School who was home for winter break, was in a car with a nineteen-year-old woman and a seventeen-year-old male just after midnight when the gunman opened the rear passenger door to rob them, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police.
The gunman grabbed for the woman’s purse, police said. When she struggled to keep it, he fired a shot, striking Christman in the head, and then fled in a silver vehicle.
According to the report filed by the St. Louis Department, the suspect is described as an “unknown black male.” This tragedy unfortunately happens to be one of many that have occurred in the St. Louis area during the past few months.
On December 3, 2014, 63-year-old Diane Lawrence was shot to death during a bar robbery.
On November 30, 2014, 32-year-old Zemir Begic was killed by four hammer-wielding males.
On July 4, 2014, 24-year-old Laura Bachman was beaten to death by her boyfriend.
And on March 1, 2014, 20-year-old Nicholas Kapusniak was shot to death during a drive-by shooting.
Yet the focus still remains on local deceased strong-arm robber Mike Brown, to whom rapper Common dedicated his Golden Globes speech the other night, and for whom “Black Lives Matter” supporters still protest..
Here’s my question: Shouldn’t we be honoring victims and NOT perpetrators?
