Failed senatorial candidate and Kentucky’s current secretary of state, Allison Lundergan Grimes, has come out saying that she will sue Senator Rand Paul if he runs simultaneously for president and re-election to the Senate in 2016.

In her first TV appearance since she was trounced by Mitch McConnell by 15 points in November, Lundergan Grimes stated that “the law is clear. You can’t be on the same ballot twice for two offices.”

If Paul elects not to run for re-election, Lundergan Grimes would most likely run again. She has yet to confirm whether or not she will be seeking re-election to her current position in 2015. Her comments may be an attempt to stir up support from her liberal base that were left disappointed with her performance.

Paul has already announced his plans to run for re-election and his team has expressed confidence in their ability to get his name on the ballot for both positions if he chooses to run for president.

A topic of political and legal substance, instead of mere emotional, resentment, anger, fear, etc.

So the guy McConnell beat in the primary, or even a better GOP candidate could run to replace Rand Paul, if he decided against running for Senate.

In the end I see Rand Paul ahead of Rubio and Cruz among the young Senators in the potus bid, but I don't see him winning.

Grimes has no evidence to look forward to becoming a Senator. She can win a liberal house district, if any exist in the border states. Probably only those with a big black city.

It'd be nice to see someone pointing to some legal authority - liberal partisan spite doesn't count as legal authority, no matter how much Obama thinks it is - on the subject.
