Obama to address race relations
By Rachel Huggins

President Obama will sit down with BET Networks to discuss calls for criminal justice reform after two controversial grand jury decisions cleared white officers in the death of black men.

In a special segment, "BET News Presents: A Conversation with President Barack Obama," the president will help find meaningful solutions to unrest after the deaths of Michael and Eric Garner sparked nationwide protests.

"This isn't going to be solved overnight," Obama said in an excerpt of the interview to air Dec. 8 at 6 p.m.
The interview, hosted by BET host and TV journalist Jeff Johnson, marks the president's first network discussion outlining his strategy to investigate the incidents and ways the country can unify during this time.

"This is something that's deeply rooted in our society, deeply rooted in our history. But the two things that will allow us to solve it: Number one: Is the understanding that we have made progress and so it's important to recognize that as painful as these instances our, we can't equate what's happening now with what was happening 50 years ago. If you talk to your parents, grandparents, uncles, they'll tell you that things are better,"

Speaking to youth on the music-variety series targeting African Americans, Obama also cited "progress" as the second most critical step.

His speech comes after two weeks of protests that followed two nationally watched decisions against prosecuting white police officers who shot Brown in Ferguson, Mo., and Garner in New York.

Garner, 43, died after a white police officer placed him in chokehold while attempting to arrest him in July. Michael Brown, 18, was fatally shot in August.

What progress? Does BET hire any white on-air talent? I don't know the answer to this question, but my guess is they do not. Are there any white members of the black congressional caucus? I don't think so.

Ergo, BET and TBCC are two of the reasons why in 2014 there continue to be Two Americas.

Obama continues to reveal his core beliefs regarding race relations in America, most specifically his presumption of white culpability. Essentially, his is a secular doctrine of "original sin", in which 18th and 19th century slavery and early 20th century "Jim Crow" laws - now fully and utterly abandoned - are held to cast a continuing pall over the prospects for black success.

In this view, "racism" is the only explanation for black failure. It is a viewpoint widely shared by the Civil Rights establishment, wherein individual attitudes and behaviors are held to be of no significance, nor are the manifest failures of government mandates to be held accountable, or even to be judged.

Instead, "progress" can only be made by maintaining the same assumptions and promoting the same programs as those the civil rights lobby has championed since the 1960s, all involving more government, whether in the form of more forced income transfers, continued "affirmative action remedies", and most profoundly, a maintenance of the myth of white privilege and equally that of black innocence.

Liberal Progressivism is of course the engine behind all of this, with its Manichean worldview and its innate hostility to intellectual and political challenge from without, and its resultant inability to recognize and learn from policy failures, or even to admit them. Admitting failure is not an option for those whose power depends increasingly upon the maintenance of myth and an unquestioning caricature of an adversary against whom to rally public opinion.

After all, we have always been at war against Racism.

Only a racist would disagree, right?

They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

Absolutely right Andy!

They MUST keep those on the plantation there at ALL costs! Otherwise they are done!

This is why they so viciously attack, with both barrels, any person of color who dares speak out against their agenda! They simply cannot allow that!

Alternatively, the media simply ignore black Republicans.

For example, South Carolina's Tim Scott just became the first African-American senator to win election in the South since Reconstruction.

The New York Times never mentioned his victory. Seriously. You can look it up. Other liberal rags mentioned it, but did so with a kind of amused, head-scratching, man-bites-dog, what-ever-were-they-thinking attitude.

Ditto Mia Love, who is the first black Republican woman — and first Haitian American — ever elected to Congress. She's also a Mormon, which at least gave some in the left-wing media a reason to snark at her.

You can never 'fix' racism because the biggest 'racists' in the world are Black people. They hate themselves. They hate their own Blackness.

They are not stupid. They see how beautiful White women are. They see how smart and intellectual White guys are. And they hate it. Because they know they can never be that. Or, at least they think they can never be that.

So, the White Liberals decided to tilt the field. If the Blacks are losing, we need to tilt the field in their favor. And then tilt it. And then tilt it some more.

Black people feel cheated by fate. And there is no way possible to ever change that no matter how much you tilt the field.

Obama is a 'community activist', which means he is a race agitator. His speech will be completely "racist" and will serve only to divide America more than he has already done.
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.

I have learned that when it comes to issues of color, one should never paint with too broad a brush. It tends to obscure rather than reveal.

There are self-hating blacks, to be sure. Just as there are virtuous, self-respecting and intelligent blacks.

There are also many self-hating white people, as well as white dumb-asses, buffoons, ignoramuses, charlatans and cretins.

The vast majority of us: whether black or white or red or yellow or brown or (as in John Boehner's case) oddly orange, are neither brilliant nor stupid, neither angels nor demons, neither wholly right, nor wholly wrong.

We're just people. We're just trying to make it through life without too many scars, and with as much enjoyment and love as we can find in this world. And we all deserve to be judged on our own individual merits, and not prejudged.
