Translation -- he believes he's on the outs because he's out. 

Sam says he's still focused on getting back into the league ... and told us the chances of Oprah ever reviving the reality show that was in the works before the draft are slim to none.

Several teams gave him the opportunity. He wasn't a good enough player. End of story.

Yes, as I often remark there is a lot of victimization and entitlement mentality in society these days.

And entertainers play on this daily, winding up almost anybody with claims of being mistreated.

I'm surprised it took this long. Six weeks is a long time.

Well, of course, the fact that he's dating a man with ties to mafia-run gambling rings has nothing to do with it either. (/sarcasm)

The league is already on record saying that they want him in the league. If anything, the individual teams are shying away from him because it would create a media circus (see: Tim Tebow)—and that's something Sam himself created.

He made a little miscalculation in trying to up his draft status by playing the gay card.
