Senate Dems just threw @MaryLandrieu under the bus by defeating #KeystoneXL, which will pass in January anyway.

McConnell announces that Keystone will be up for a vote again very early in the new Congress, and congratulates Sen. Hoeven for his efforts.

The 59-41 vote fell just one vote short of overcoming a filibuster led by Democrats.

In addition to Landrieu, Democrats who backed the pipeline included Sens. Mark Begich of Alaska, Bob Casey of Pennsylvania, Joe Donnelly of Indiana, Kay Hagan of North Carolina, Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota, Joe Manchin III of West Virginia, Claire McCaskill of Missouri, Mark Pryor of Arkansas, John Walsh of Montana and Mark Warner of Virginia.

Well so much for Landrieu's hopes of being the vote to pass the bill.   :smokin:

Truly...Democrats are marginalizing their party.  Only the rich radical enviros...packed with their money into Hollywood...will support this.  They are making themselves a niche party with this kind of action.

Absolutely.

Here is how I see this... Had it been a closer race and it was close to a 50 - 50 split this would have passed and they would have helped her. But at this point they don't care it won't matter. They just threw her under the bus..
