You know guys, I am hearing more and more whispers of dissatisfaction with Obama from the Black community. They are dismayed at his constant concern with illegals and Hispanics and Latinos, but he seems to have no concern at all whatsoever for the situation in Black America. Her really could not care less. All he cares about is taking care of the Mexicans. Screw the Blacks.

The implications are that there may very well be a day, where Ferguston becomes an anti-Obama riot. There are millions of Black people who hate Sharpton and Jackson and feel like they have been taken for fools. And now, they feel the same way about Obama.

I think this "hate Whitety" thing that Holder/Obama/Sharpton/MSNBC keep pushing is wearing thin. The American Black people are tired of being played like fools.

What I mean by this is, that arresting Obama, or stripping him from office, may not be viewed by Black Americans as a negative thing, like the MSM is trying to convince everyone.

Most of them hate him as much as we do. You know the two/thirds Obama bragged about, those are two thirds of the Blacks and Democrats, and they hate him. They are on our side!

Yeah.  As in, "What do you mean WE, Paleface?".  Do not believe it.  Not for a minute.  We are born in our uniform.
Why?  Well, because I'm a bastard, that's why.

The instant hearings for impeachment are announced, the tribal instincts will kick in and blacks will support him by at least 95%  So will the Rats.  An impeachment will fail in the Senate, and whoever the Democrat candidate is in '16 will win in a walk.  Krauthammer is correct about this.

As much as blacks may be ticked off at Obama right now - and they have good reason - I think many would stay home and not vote, rather than to vote for a Republican.  Maybe those 2/3 of the voters that didn't vote - that Obama surly referenced were comprised of a significant number of blacks.  They're are disallusioned that their historic first black president turned out to be a worthless piece of shit, but I doubt many of them will think switching to the other side is an option.  They are still die-hard on the plantation Democrats.  They'll just sit the next two years out - only the most stupid among them will fall for the Al Sharpton/Jesse Jackson rhetoric.

Most educated blacks just aren't so enthralled anymore, but they will remain silent.

Make that 99.9%.

Impeaching Clinton was a mistake.
Impeaching Obama would be a disaster.

There are ways to corral this POS and his effects for the next two years.
Impeachment isn't one of them.

Yeah.  As in, "What do you mean WE, Paleface?".

There is an old joke. it wa born in the 50's when the Lone Ranger and his faithful scout 'Tonto', were at the apex.

The story goes that the Lone Ranger became surrounded by 10,000 elizabeth warrens on all sides, the Lone Ranger says, "What are we going to do!?"

Elizabeth Warren (who is Tonto) says, "What do you mean 'We', paleface?"

And she herself is as White as a cloud on a spring afternoon. Try and figure that one out. I can't.
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.

Why do you 'quote' somebody with double brackets, when all you have to do is click on 'quote' button in the upper right hand corner of the specific reply to which you're referring?

Some reason?

Some reason?

There may actually be enough reasons to charge the man with treason if there was anyone with enough balls to do so.

Luis, my friend, do you intend to paint Obama's opposition as chickenshit?  It could appears that way.  When a majority of American voters voted pro-black socialist for President two elections in a row, I re-evaluated the direction of American politics and the testicular fortitude of anyone who wouldn't sacrifice all that the federal government can take.

I think it would be stupid to impeach Obama today...but then again I'm drunk.  Here is to hoping you are drunk on a Saturday night/Sunday morning too.

After a lot of thought, I agree with this view.  It's not that Obama hasn't done a zillion things for which he could be impeached.

But at this stage of the game, with only two years left it wouldn't actually get him out of office, it most likely wouldn't pass the Senate, it would make Republicans look vengeful and not patriotic, nor principled, and it would turn Obama into a martyr.

That, I believe is why the Dems are pushing for it.  It would be a win for them all around if the Republicans went for impeachment.

It's a strange turn of events, I'll grant, but I think that's the way it is right now.

I think that is unexpectedly solid analysis, Musiclady.  Good post.

Maybe it's because I'm 68 years old...

I don't give a rat's a$$ if Impeachment fails.  THE CONSTITUTION REQUIRES IT!

Don't care how many voters skipped the 2014 mid-terms. The anti-Obama vote reached down into virtually every nook and cranny of the State legislatures.

There's no way the Republican's victory will be wasted by Impeaching this POS.

Frankly, what nauseates me a bit are so-called Conservatives suddenly checking their principles at the door.  They're the first ones to get outraged when Republican brothers and sisters suggest that certain SOCON planks (abortion..gay marriage) be ripped away.

But when it comes to the very life of the United States AS FOUNDED being at stake....they lose those same principles so that they can enjoy a couple of election cycles in power.

And furthermore....

Impeachment didn't hurt the Republicans in 2000...and it didn't hurt the GOP majority in Congress until 2006.

IOW....Impeachment didn't affect the Republicans one iota.

And William Jefferson Clinton was Impeached.   As Casey Stengel said, "You can look it up!"

Voters vote with their pocketbooks.  It's why despite the REAL unemployment rate hovering around 12.6% with over 93 MILLION Americans having left the workforce since 2008.  It's why health-care today is anything but "affordable".

My one and only reservation regarding this (it's a big one) is that is is now too late! By the time it got done his term would be over anyway and It's just not worth the cost at this point!

It's NEVER too late.

American history will DEMAND it!

And exactly WHY will it take two years?  As I said, there's GOT to be a dozen Democrat Senators who don't want to be private citizens and wear the shame of defeat for them and their families.

I think you're absolutely right -- no question.

If anything, I believe a principled impeachment of Obama would result in a groundswell of support for the Republicans at the grassroots and at the state levels.

Americans have had enough of him, and would welcome his departure from office, even if that departure is involuntary.

After seven or so years of wisecracks about Joe Biden being "Obama's insurance", I think he would be welcomed into the presidency in the same way that Gerald Ford was back in 1974 (and I still remember Ford's short and unassuming speech made on the front steps of his house -- "here, the people rule.").

If we want "the people" to keep rulin' in America, there is one, and only one, "principled" thing to do.

Everyone here knows what that is.

Do I sense -- just sense -- that attitudes about that might be beginning to change?

You mean "we" don't you?

Because talking smack about impeachment on an anonymous Internet forum doesn't make anyone not chickenshit.

There will be no impeachment charges brought up against Obama.

Obama will not be impeached.

Period.

Bill Clinton's Presidential approval ratings SOARED the week he was impeached and remained there throughout the rest of his Presidency. He finished his Presidency with one of the highest approval ratings of any President since the mid-1960s.

That will be the case with Obama... in spades (bad pun intended).

The impeachment talk is being driven by Obama and the Democrats themselves because they see the obvious value to their collective careers.

The sheeple on the right are being driven by the DNC sheep dogs to a ledge.

Who gives a rat's ass what Obama's approval ratings are after his term expires?

I'm thinking about my grandchildren and the children of today's immigrants...sitting in history class being taught that the Americans back in 2014 didn't give a damn about a presidential abuse of power and a lack of respect for Separation of Powers of the the 3 branches of government.

Think of whatever you want to think of, he's not going to be impeached because the voters who voted him into office TWICE think that they're doing the same as you, and they have the greater numbers.

In fact, the voters who voted him into office TWICE are far closer to those homeless people being beat up by thugs than we are. We are painted as the thugs.

I love how conservatives, whose principal role in American politics in all the years that I've been following politics has primarily been that of the indignant principled losers and whose most visible impact in politics has consisted of stopping this or that lesser Republican candidate from being elected to office, now demand that the President that they themselves helped get elected by their inaction and their choosing to step out of the mainstream of politics be removed from office.
