Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont and much of New Hampshire are deep blue. Not a speck of red to be seen.
Amazingly, New York state still has a lot of red space, although that's "upstate" and the population cannot offset the huge amount of blue south of Poughkeepsie.
Here in CT, just about every Republican on the statewide ticket lost.
If the Pubbies couldn't win -this year-, where the air is thick with anti-Obama sentiment, when -can they- win again?
I doubt I'll see Connecticut elect a Republican to the Congress, Senate, or governorship again in my lifetime.
In New England, at least, the left has won the battle.
