Election countdown to lead Sunday shows

Talk of Tuesday's midterm elections will dominate the Sunday political talk shows as candidates gear up for their final round of campaigning.
Appearing to spar on the election's likely outcome, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus will join Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz on ABC's "This Week."
Only a handful of lawmakers will join them across the networks.
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), one of the cycle's most sought-after surrogates and a likely 2016 presidential contender, will appear on NBC's "Meet the Press," CBS's "Face the Nation" and CNN's "State of the Union." Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) will also appear on CBS.
Paul made headlines for commenting that the "Republican Party brand sucks" during a trip to Detroit this week.
"We’re also fighting 40 years of us doing a crappy job, of Republicans not trying at all for 40 years, so it’s a lot of overcoming," he said. "You got to show up, you got to have something to say and really we just have to emphasize that we’re trying to do something different."
"Fox News Sunday" will round out the list with an interview with former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.
Romney is maintaining an active presence on the campaign trail, stumping with Republican Senate candidates Joni Ernst, David Perdue and Thom Tillis. But he insisted in an interview Friday that is not entertaining another presidential bid.
"The best way that we can get back the White House is perhaps giving someone else a chance and that’s why I’m not running, not planning on running," Romney said on the Laura Ingraham Show on Friday.
Here is what is coming on Sunday:
ABC's "This Week": Priebus and Wasserman Schultz will make a late pitch to voters and recap their outlooks for Tuesday. The segment promises to be as fiery as their appearance last Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union," where a debate over the health of individual campaigns devolved into a shouting match. The week prior, they tangled on "Fox News Sunday."
CBS's "Face the Nation": Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) is expected to expand on his critique of the Republican Party's brand and deliver predictions about toss-up races that will decide control of the Senate. Paul has campaigned for GOP candidates in 30 states over the last year in preparation for Tuesday's vote. Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) will also appear on the show.
NBC's "Meet the Press": Paul will join the show to discuss the midterms and his view on the Republican Party.
CNN's "State of the Union": Paul will make his third appearance to discuss the midterms and his view of the Republican Party.
"Fox News Sunday": Romney will deliver an analysis of the midterm election cycle, criticize President Obama and discuss the up-and-coming GOP presidential field.
