Poor lass.
Medical examiners have confirmed that a body found in a ravine in the Seattle suburb of Auburn is that of missing Django Unchained actress Misty Upham.

In a statement, the medical examiner's office said Friday that the 32-year-old woman died Oct. 5 - the day her family reported the Native American actress was missing and feeling suicidal. The medical examiner said the cause and manner of death are pending investigation.

Police spokesman Steve Stocker said the body was found Thursday near the White River. Items with Upham's name on them were found nearby. He said there was no evidence of foul play.

A purse containing identifying items was found alongside the body in a ravine near the White River, close to Seattle, on Thursday afternoon, according to reports.

Her father, Charles Upham, confirmed his daughter's identity to police.

Police Commander Steve Stocker said there was presently no evidence or information "to believe there is foul play."

The 32-year-old actress had been missing in the state of Washington for 10 days.

Actress Misty Upham’s father, Charles Upham announced on a statement in Facebook that he believes his daughter died while trying to hide from the police.

"She did not commit suicide," Charles wrote. "We believe she ran into the wooded area behind her apartment to hide from the police. The area in question has a hidden drop off and evidence suggests that she slipped and fell off of the steep embankment when she tried to get out of a view from the road. She simply did not see the drop-off."

Upham had been missing since October 6 when her body was discovered on Thursday at the bottom of a 150-ft embankment in Auburn, Washington. The actress who had appeared in “August: Osage County” and “Django Unchained” was 32.

In the statement Charles said his daughter suffered from mental illness and had been poorly treated by the local police department.
