NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) – President Barack Obama has canceled a trip to New Jersey and Connecticut and will instead hold a meeting about Ebola at the White House.

“The president’s travel today to New Jersey and Connecticut has been postponed,” the president’s Press Secretary said in a statement. “Late this afternoon, the president will convene a meeting at the White House of cabinet agencies coordinating the government’s response to the Ebola outbreak.”

The president was to attend a private fundraiser for Senate Democrats in Union, New Jersey before

The only reason he is doing this is he is taking a political hit OR/AND they need to get together to get the memo and story out to blame the gop. Oh they also must get all the info to find out which cities they can send more ebola folks to, mostly red states I am betting.  :smokin:

I have been reading the comment section at the DM on these ebola stories, found quite a few who love obama and are upset about this.
