From hope to nope: Respect for Obama plummets in eyes of Americans

By Cheryl K. Chumley - The Washington Times - Wednesday, October 15, 2014
President Obama in the lead-up to November's elections can't shake the disfavor of the American public, and his numbers have dropped to all-time lows in at least one poll from ABC News and The Washington Post, released Wednesday.

The title of the poll press release says it all: "Trouble Looms for Obama, Democrats With the 2014 Midterms Approach," the ABC News/Washington Post Poll release stated.

Only four of 10 Americans say they approve of his handling of his job. Fifty-one percent, meanwhile, give him thumbs-down for job performance, The Hill reported. And only 39 percent see Democrats in general in a favorable light -- the lowest rating for the party since 1984.

Fully half of voters say they're going to cast a Republican ticket in November, while only 43 percent will vote Democratic, the poll shows.

Meanwhile, more than 77 percent say it's the economy that's consuming their thoughts -- and almost the same number of respondents say their family finances have only gotten worse under the present administration.

Voters also give more favor to Republicans than Democrats on immigration, and on the U.S. response to the Islamic State.

"obama's approval rating matches George W. Bush's heading into the 2006 midterms, when Republicans lost 30 seats," said Gary Langer, who conducted the ABC News poll, The Hill reported. "The only postwar president numerically lower heading into a second midterm was Harry Truman, at 39 percent approval, in 1950. His Democrats lost 28 seats."

The press only has a couple more weeks, so they better get with the project!
For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death — if you’re unvaccinated — for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm. Sloe Joe Biteme 12/16
I will NOT comply.
