Ouch: When Obama Is Getting Ruthlessly Burned By A Liberal ‘Hero’ You Know He’s In Trouble

"And it happened over and over and over.”

Despite the fact she has yet to announce her intention to run, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren is an increasingly intriguing alternative to Hillary Clinton among Democrats looking ahead to the 2016 presidential election. The outspoken Democrat is likely to attract even more support from those disillusioned with the party after making some harsh critiques of the current administration’s economic program.

Salon spoke to Warren for an article published last weekend; and in regard to the fiscal situation working Americans are currently facing, she placed the lion’s share of blame squarely at the president’s feet.

Barack Obama was responsible for selecting a specific economic team, she explained; and “when the going got tough, his economic team picked Wall Street.”

Warren lamented that the response of these experts has caused America’s middle class to suffer needlessly.

“They protected Wall Street,” she said. “Not families who were losing their homes. Not people who lost their jobs. Not young people who were struggling to get an education. And it happened over and over and over.”

As Obama’s second term drags on, Warren is just the latest in a long line of Democrats anxious to distance themselves from his disastrous policies. Time will tell whether her latest excoriation will help her already soaring popularity among many influential donors in her party.

Western Journalism reported last week that, according to experts, the all-but-inevitable candidacy of Hillary Clinton is being challenged by a divergent stream of capital being contributed to a variety of alternative presidential hopefuls. Politico’s Mike Allen noted that one individual in particular is enjoying a large portion of that attention.

“Well, of course the dream is Elizabeth Warren,” he said.

She's quietly being elevated. Hillary is a train wreck in so many ways, I would make EW the favorite to win the nomination from the Dem side. We know it has to be a woman, any woman, and EW is being touted as the second smartest woman in the world. The Dems are afraid of pissing off the Clintons, but they know Hillary has too much baggage.

I think you're right that it has to be a woman, any woman, to fix what the evil, men have done.  I can see it happening.

And Hellary does have a lot of baggage, besides being simply incompetent.  I suppose the Demonrats can't afford another incompetent president and believe that Warren won't be that...

Liz Warren will be 67 years old in 2016, yet I'm quite sure the Dems will pass her off as some youngster.

For comparison's sake, Reagan was 69 in 1980, and was mercilessly mocked by the Dems and the media as being old and out of touch throughout his two terms.

Trump has created a cult and looks more and more like Hitler every day.
