According the latest “tale of the tape” from NYPRIG spreadsheet wizard Bill Mahoney, nearly half (49.4%) of the $45 million raised by (incumbent New York Governor Andrew) Cuomo so far came from 331 donors who gave $40,000 or more. Less than 7% came from donors who gave less than $1,000.

Cuomo’s biggest donor is real estate mogul Leonard Litwin, who, using a variety of corporate entities, pumped $1 million into Cuomo’s campaign. Developer Gary Barnet and his wife Ayala , together with Ayala’s Extell Development, were a distant second, accounting for $300,000 to Cuomo. Extell’s company gave about $100,000 to the governor around the same time he signed legislation granting the firm lucrative tax breaks on a Manhattan luxury high rise. The donations were reportedly being investigated by Cuomo’s Moreland Commission before he shut it down in March.

Republican candidate Rob Astoino, by contrast, (has had only) 17 donors (donate) $40,000 or more.

Yeah, yet they still go on and on about the frickin' Koch brothers - look at all the leftist billionaires out there.

They are the party of the welfare receipients and the 1%ers.

Cuomo is a nut and somehow manages to be more corrupt than his father.
