“Love”: The Islamic State’s Source of Strength

The Islamic State recently posted a message on social media addressed to U.S. president Obama and all Arab world leaders reportedly allied with the U.S. against the new “caliphate.”
Titled “The State of Love,” the message harangues fellow Muslims to come and fight alongside the Islamic State against the “infidels,” adding: “The Islamic State does not spend billions of dollars to win over the hearts of people. Instead, it relies on the love of Islam that exists among the masses. And this is the secret of its strength.”
The post also carries an image of Obama and other Arab state leaders on one side and a lone jihadi terrorist on the other, with the caption: “With us or with the Infidels?” The word “us” appears in bold under the jihadi and the word “infidels” appears in bold under Obama et al.
