So says Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft regarding the Obama administration’s determined decision to pull out all American forces from Iraq in December of 2011 for what many feel was primarily political reasons so Barack Obama could run on the idea of “ending the war.” Today’s Middle East chaos is a direct result of that short sighted and utterly self-serving move by an administration run by incompetents. Death, mayhem, beheadings, the ISIS madness is the direct progeny of the Obama madness, self promoting insanity of the most dangerous kind…

EVERYONE was warning the Obama White House not to remove all U.S. troops from Iraq, and those warnings were willfully ignored in favor of politics.

Where is the media in condemning this fact?

Former President George W. Bush was vilified and ridiculed for his earlier warnings that a contingent of American military should be left in Iraq to help secure future stability.  HE WAS RIGHT.

Regardless of your personal views on Mr. Bush, it cannot be said he has taken cheap political shots at the many failures now plaguing the Obama administration. Even President Bush though, when pressed, is willing to remind people he warned us of the current chaos in the Middle East should America simply pack up and leave Iraq, as the Obama administration did in 2011, though Mr. Bush continues to do so with the deference and dignity  he has long been known for.

The specific military recommendation former President Bush is speaking of was from General Martin Dempsey, the current top military official in the United States. In 2011, Dempsey told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee he knew of NO military commanders who favored a complete withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq.

Think about that, reader. Not a single military commander was in favor of the Obama administration’s plan to withdraw all soldiers from Iraq. Their expertise and advise was ignored in favor of a campaign slogan for the then upcoming 2012 Election. Valerie Jarrett pushed aside the military’s advice, and now just three years later, much of the Middle East burns because of it.
