The ground under Bruce Braley has shifted.
The Democratic U.S. Senate candidate is 6 points behind his GOP rival, Joni Ernst, according to The Des Moines Register's new Iowa Poll of likely voters.
Ernst leads 44 percent to 38 percent in a race that has for months been considered deadlocked. She leads nearly 4-1 with rural voters, and is up double digits with independents...

Huge news out of the DM Red Star's poll released yesterday showing that Joni is now leader over Little Brucie the Towelboy by 6, confirming a recent Qunnipiac poll that showed the same.
Understand that the GOP does very well here in Iowa in governor elections. Governor Branstad is killing his opponent Jackass Hatch by at least 15, and there are no other strong Dem candidates to carry the flag. If Joni can get up on Little Brucie by at least 10, it could collapse the Dem turnout all the way down the ticket, and we could run the table on them in every office, and get back the Iowa Senate.
