Financed with $10 million in out-of-state money, taxpayer rights advocates were majorly outgunned. Our own buddy Kelly Maher was working long, long days on this and feeling pretty defeated about a month ago. So much money spent against taxpayer interests, so many new Coloradans who came from California and were seemingly determined to turn the Rocky Mountain State into another failed liberal paradise.
And yet:
First 350K votes in on #Amendment66: 63 percent voting NO, 37 percent voting YES. #copolitics

It was sold as an education tax hike “for the children,” of course. And yet, it seems to be going 63-37 as of now, with disappointing showings in both Denver and Boulder?
1st numbers from Boulder County show A66 losing there 52-48. #COvote #9NEWS

In fact, Amendment 66 seems to have gone down hard. Currently at 63/37. It’s only at 50/50 in Denver!
