Good for her. I wonder if she knows how lucky she is to be able to find an escape. Few women in the industry do. They are dehumanized, abused, broken then discarded, many turning to heroin and other addictive drugs to escape the torment and loss of self-esteem after the producers are done with them or they catch an STD. And many eventually die from a drug overdose or suicide or become a hopeless junkie. I’m sure if you count the East European, Russian and Asian girls in the count the statistics would be horrifying, and you can include murder and being sold into the human slave trade at all ages into the figures.
And for us men who, lets face it we help these girls down this career path by our addictions and creating a market for it. Think about this - In 1987 an estimated 1,500 adult titles hit the market. By 1997 it grew to 7,970. Compare that number with 231 feature films released by Hollywood. In 1997 the porn industry released more movies in two weeks that Hollywood did in an entire year. Now in 2013 with most adult movies viewed over the web in the privacy of your own home instead of embarrassing yourself picking up a movie from a video store the industry spread to nearly every country on the planet and the numbers of titles each year must be into the tens of thousands.
And pornography ensnares the good and the wicked. Rock solid Christians can be trapped in its web, and it is brutal to escape from. And this addiction is almost always passed on to the next generation. This thought alone should stop every man in his tracks.
