WASHINGTON FREE BEACON - On Wednesday, at a U.S. House of Representatives Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing, IRS official Greg Roseman refused to testify before a committee investigating why Strong Castle Inc., a small business formed in late 2011, managed to attract so much contract work. When questioned Roseman invoked his right not to answer questions by stating “I respectfully decline to answer any questions and invoke my Fifth Amendment privilege to remain silent.”
Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said the alleged misconduct by Strong Castle and Roseman shows “shockingly inappropriate” behavior and highlights how the company was able to “successfully manipulate the system to acquire contracts.”
