Graham responds to Trump: Please fix this
By Julia Manchester - 08/17/17 09:29 AM EDT

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said President Trump should "fix" his remarks about white supremacists and last week's violence in Charlottesville in a response to the president's Twitter attack on him earlier Thursday morning.

Graham said Trump is receiving praise "from some of the most racist and hate-filled individuals and groups in our country" after his remarks stating that both sides were to blame for the violence.

White supremacist leaders David Duke and Richard Spencer both lauded Trump's remarks.

"For the sake of our Nation — as our President — please fix this. History is watching us all," he concluded.

I wasn't aware that Donald Trump was responsible for statements coming from David Duke.  Should we likewise hold Graham accountable for comments coming from Kim Jong Un?
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

Isn't Graham from SC?   Where the Civil War was kicked off.

Linda,

Please define the exact statement that will fix everything and end all criticism.

Thanks.

Charlottesville: David Duke Still Matters -- Who Knew?

Who knew David Duke mattered?

Cable news made the former wizard of the KKK quite visible in Charlottesville, at what planners billed as the largest gathering of the "alt-right community." The "Unite the Right" rally encouraged the like-minded to go to and demonstrate in Charlottesville, Virginia. Counter-protesters, of course, showed up, and many violent clashes ensued. When the dust settled, a woman had been killed and 19 injured when a suspect apparently intentionally drove his car into a crowd of people, although the matter remains under investigation. Two police officers died when their patrol helicopter crashed.

Duke got considerable airtime in Charlottesville. Never mind that the last time he was taken even remotely seriously was in 1991 when he ran for governor of Louisiana. Not a single Republican congressional lawmaker supported him. Mary Matalin, chief of staff of the Republican National Committee, said: "He is not a Republican. We never considered him a Republican. There will be no involvement in his campaign whatsoever." He lost by a large margin. He sought office four more times, losing each race. He also served time for mail fraud and tax evasion.

Funny.  The Democrats had no problem with him when he ran in the Democrat Presidential primary three years earlier.  His name appeared on the Democrat ballot in eleven states.  New Hampshire Democrats held a Vice Presidential primary that year which David Duke won.

But again, there isn't a Republican politician anywhere with the balls to point this out.

Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
