Just had a nice little cell blow through Medina- heavy rain for about 20 minutes. Now I don't have to go out there and water.

Similar situation here in Sugar Land.

Sink, where do you get granulated garlic?  The kind you cook with?

Sorry, just now seeing this.  Yes, the kind you cook with.  You can buy it in large sizes at Sam's.

I've used it for years.  It even works on mosquitoes.  Cedarcide cedar chips do too, but they're more expensive and hard to find unless you have an organic nursery nearby.

I've used this Bonide Mosquito Beater product for several years in my yard and carry it when I travel in my motorhome.

Hopefully you get rid of those pesky good for nothing vultures before I get to SA in November for the winter.

It rained pretty hard on my way to work today, from Sugar Land to Katy.

Just had a brief shower here yesterday afternoon, but this morning we're getting a fairly good dousing.
Let it burn.

Yes, finally raining in the Austin area!

It's been a little unusual, very localized. It's raining now at work, but looking at the radar I would bet that it's not raining at our house a few miles away as the crow flies.
Let it burn.

we had some rain yesterday and I thought I saw some gray clouds out there again.... that would be 3... 3! days in a row if we get some rain today.

After two months with no rain, I am grateful for the rain that started last night. Not a lot -but a little more today and hoping for more over the next few days.

I got 0.4" yesterday!  And, it's cool(ish) today.  More rain in the forecast for Sunday and Monday.

Nah, I'm down here in the heel of the hand in Southeastern Jackson County. I'm right on the borderline of moderate and no drought.

It rained pretty good overnight but this has been one of those years where the rain peters out 5 or 10 miles away and leaves us with humidity.
