Not sure I get the "sex scandal" part either.  I would have thought it was more likely that the problem is the taxpayers are paying for her to do nothing as a member of his staff. 

And the other thing is that while there is speculation this matter involves Alcee Hastings' girlfriend, that part hasn't been confirmed.
